2004 Iowa Senior Living Coordinating Unit Annual Report: The Iowa Senior Living Coordinating Unit (SLCU) has broad responsibility for long term care in Iowa. The SLCU is comprised of the department directors of Public Health, Inspections and Appeals, Human Services, Elder Affairs, four members of the General Assembly and two members from the general public.
