Membership is required to participate in OLLI at Iowa Classes, unless otherwise noted. Some special lectures and events are open to the public.
Annual membership with OLLI at Iowa costs just $15.
Members will receive the OLLI at Iowa Newsletter, as well as invitations to special events and other fun "members-only" opportunities. After you pay the $15 membership fee, you only have to pay the flat rate for any other OLLI class you take for the year.
Membership fees help us cover the cost of creating, printing and mailing the Course Guides and Newsletter.
OLLI at Iowa Program Policies
Inclement Weather Policy
OLLI will not hold classes or events when the Community School District schools are closed because of inclement weather. In cases where the classes are held in the evening or on a weekend, please tune in to your local television or radio for closing announcements. Participants will be notified by the instructor to schedule make-up dates.
Scholarships for Members
OLLI at Iowa strives to make all classes and events accessible to everyone. Participants needing financial assistance are encouraged to contact the OLLI office at (319) 384-4222 for details. All inquiries will be decided on a case by case basis and be kept strictly confidential.
Cancellation Policy
There will be a $15 cancellation fee for any course(s) cancelled within two weeks of the course’s start date. This fee will be waived under extenuating medical circumstances.
In the event that a class is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund.
