Iowa City Hospice Offers Dementia Educational Guide:

"Providing Care Through the Course of Dementia: A Guide for Caregivers" is a 42-page handbook recently published by Iowa City Hospice, which addresses many common questions and concerns of those caring for a person with dementia. The guide is available for download at the Iowa City Hospice website: www.iowacityhospice.org.

In addition to the above available documents, many other publications of possible interest to families with older adults are offered through Iowa State University Extension Services on their website. Also included are materials you can use to help educate your patients about their disorders and patient information in Spanish; funding opportunities; reports from the Surgeon General among others.
